Captain Jack and the Cleveland Steamers are Chris Mitchell (vocals, guitar, lap steel), Jake Cirell (vocals, guitar), Brian Turk (vocals, bass, jaw harp), and Ian Vandewalker (drumz). We play classic country (Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson), bluegrass, and spirtually-inspired music, with undertones of degenerate hippie sounds. Our influences include beer and Jim Beam (and sometimes Jack Daniels). We are a band like no other, except that we will blow your mind with country music shot out of a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, motherfucker. In reality we are really a bunch of old degenerate hippies trapped inside the bodies of 4 mid-to-late twenty-year-old men. Keep America beautiful, and keep your eyes peeled. You may see us at our frequent watering hole Grand Central Bar in Williamsburg, playing for their free Friday happy-hour BBQs.
