Debbie Dangerfield

Soultry African American female country singer Debbie Dangerfield originally hails from Oklahoma and has lived in Brooklyn for over 15 years. Debbie sings contemporary country music penned by new songwriters, as well as traditional songs. In November 2005, during "Country Takes New York" week, Debbie Dangerfield received her own special day proclaimed by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz

Debbie also operates the Saddle Down Bed and Breakfast, a downhome-style Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Brooklyn.

Debbie has performed special appearance dates with the Black Cowboy Association, on the Rodeo Circuit and in New York country hotspots and more. However, it was her keen sense of "voice and phrasing" which catapulted her to the top spot during the "Patsy Cline" Look-a-Like contest and "Dolly Parton" contest, which put her on the New York landscape. With her vivacious wit and style, and her captivating smile, Debbie Dangerfield is poised to release her first traditional USA album paying tribute to established country songwriters and a few newcomers.
