Citigrass plays “urban bluegrass,” a blend of rock and jam influences with traditional bluegrass, to create a hot, modern sound that attracts a much wider audience than most bluegrass acts. It’s a style crafted and tested in New York City. Citigrass is a favorite at many top venues and festivals, appeared recently on ABC TV Live from Lincoln Center, and is the featured soloist at next summer’s Mobile Symphony Orchestra
pops concert (to perform with the orchestra). The band also does many private events including an upcoming occasion for NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg at Gracie Mansion.
