American Ambulance

American Ambulance began life the way so many great relationships do--sitting around a kitchen table, drinking. A shifting cast of characters played cheating, drinking, and murder songs on acoustic instruments while passing the bottle around singer/songwriter Pete Cenedella’s kitchen table in Williamsburg, Brooklyn circa 1999.

Soon a steady lineup was in place and the albums started coming out -- Hayden's Ferry / Rustic Records recently released Streets of NYC, the fourth American Ambulance CD in as many years -- kind of a concept album about L-U-V in the N-Y-C in the sleazy 1970s.
